Here are 4 effective tips to help you give an effective presentaion:
1. Look up and out at your audience. Maintain eye contact with individual member of the audience. This will help you to engage the audience.
2. Briefly glance at your notes as required. Your audience can read quicker than you speak, so don't read the slide out word for word unless it is quote.
3. It is rude to go over your time allotted. It is OK to finish up before you time has ended. Your audience will thank you for it. You can always take questions!
4. Present in your natural voice in a conversational style to be most effective
The more presentations you give the better you will become at giving a presetaion.
